Season 2 didn’t start out easy for Cleo as we all know. Her parents got divorced, her mom just left and then she gets these new powers. It’s all a bit too much for Cleo at that point.

While Lewis wanting to help Cleo and the girls is really sweet of him, he didn’t really did it the right way. Cleo needed some space and Lewis a bit too clingy for her. Rikki even said it to him that he should loosen the lease a bit.

And maybe Cleo could’ve communicated it better, but she is at point a 16 year old teenage girl. Communicating is really something that easy in the teenage years.

And I’ve said this before, that I can always see both sides with everything. But that Lewis biggest problem is that he wants to fix everything. Sometimes the girls want to vent about their problems, without Lewis trying to fix it, that he can just really be there for moral support.

Yes, Zane was the mermaid hunter. And when he discovered and proved to his dad that they were out there he was happy. But when he discovered Rikki was one of them he switched sides. He proved that he cared more about Rikki than about being right about mermaids.

But Lewis also kinda had a part in Dr. Denman discovering that the girls were mermaids. Because of and sorry to say it this way, his stupidity in the Denman Affair, Denman got her hands on the DNA sample. And when she discovered one of the scales on Mako, she is very quick into putting all the puzzle pieces together.

“Hitchcock is very handsome.”

“You know, for a town that prides itself on honesty and do-goodness, you all have a lot of skeletons in your closet.”

One the things that I missed in the later seasons of the show was the importance of the Byers family. In season 1 and 2, they were the family it was more focused on. The big happenings happed at their house.

I get that characters like Dustin, Steve and Robin are fan favorites, but I feel they got a bit too much screen time in comparison to the Byers family.

And one thing I admired about the Byers was no matter the circumstances, they were a true family and loved each other.

Really an underrated Cold Open. The Nine-Nine has been invaded by ants. And what do they use to fight them, the cold.

Also this has some real funny moments. The ants using the computer cable to go to Amy’s desk.

Going into Terry’s yoghurt. It became personal for Terry.

And when they fight the ants with the cold, it’s freezing, so everyone is in their coats and then the ends end up there.

He sounds just like him and I loved his reaction when they didn’t believe that he wasn’t Glenn.

“What? That’s exactly how he sounds. You have no idea how spot on I was.”

I just loved her reaction to it and all her lines.

Rikki: “Who are these people.”

Emma: “Rikki, at least pretend you’re having fun.”

Rikki: “But I’m not.”

And those two are also hilarious. First when she sees Miriam dressed as a mermaid.

“I might need this bucket to vomit in.”

And the second when Kim tries to “expose” Miriam as a mermaid.

“Finally something interesting.”
