Tattoo

Man, some of y’all are HARSH lol. I went today to get this tattooed because I’ve been going through a really tough time recently and needed a pick me up. He had it drawn up and done within two hours. I do appreciate all of the people who commented and helped out. But I promise I’m not lying about going and getting this done so soon. I’m not really sure what the point of that would be. But remember to spread love & positivity always because you never know what somebody might be going through. ❤️

Favorite performance of 1x22? (Journey)

Okay let's try this for a 4th time with no additional text. Maybe it doesn't like the way I'm hating on Funk in the original post. If it posts I'll put the original text in the comments.

Forshadowing

It always kinds of creeps me out when I watch certain episodes and there's some serious foreshadowing in them. For example when Puck and Lauren are planning on making a tape of themselves and then Holly Holiday tells them that they could be arrested for child 🌽, which Puck then reiterates at the end of the episode. Always sketches me out because that's exactly what he was arrested for in real life.

And then when Finn finds out what really happened to his father, talking about how he had a drug problem and he died from an overdose... We all know what happened there.

And of course Naya singing If I Die Young, sink me in the river during the Quarterback episode.

Dream world of glee

While I’ve been re-watching glee I’ve realized the idea of singing out the emotion in real time (maybe when you’re alone) is so powerful and exciting. I’m a singer and occasionally do this when I’m in my head, but I want a moment like the show. Kinda like imagining you’re in your own music video. You can listen to the song, feel the song and be in the song. I guess glee made me realize as when you watch other shows or movies, most times the bystanders don’t know you’re singing. Just a perspective.

Alma/Brittany scenes.

I just wanna start by saying that I genuinely love Brittany but hated how the writers did her in early season. Season 6 is my least favorite season but is still alright in certain aspects. I’m on the unpopular opinion side that I actually enjoyed the parts away from glee club this season because I didn’t like the new members but I already made a post about that I won’t get into that here. Anyways I hated how Brittany started out as the stereotypical stupid blonde to grow from that just to be told she’s a genius then to once again turn stupid while also being a straight ass when early Brittany despite being overly stupid was still a genuinely sweet and caring person (was the first other than Sue to treat Becky Jackson with love and respect despite her Down syndrome while everyone else was worried about her Down syndrome). Now onto the season 6 stuff. I love how Brittany is literally so in love with Santana that she uses santanas methods and santanas conniving and manipulative tendencies to trick Santanas abuela. It not only showed that Brittany loved Santana for who she was but that she also could tell Santana was special despite all her flaws.

S5:9 frenemies

Team Artie & Santana

Tina was waaaay out of line /aggressive and assaulted a handicapped person.
And why the heck did Schue or anyone step in when Tina began to grab Artie’s chair aggressively?!
Artie told no lies in that hallway!

Santana was right in the S5 fight. Rachel basically made Santana feel better including her in the photoshoot for Funny Girl. I think Santana felt that Rachel wouldn’t mind her auditioning since it was the understudy (not the star) and knowing Rachel’s work ethic Santana would probably never go on. And knowing Santana, it did cross her mind that if they fought it meant, Rachel didn't change and
Was playing with her. Lol
Yes, Santana should have brought it up to Rachel that she wanted to try to audition. I don't think she needs a
Blessing to audition for understudy.
Not to mention Santana KILLED " Don’t Rain on my parade and made it her own. If they were really friends rachel would have praised her. Santana I think was actually trying in the friendship and Rachel did exactly what she usually does lol
Kurt was literally saying it loud af lmfao

Tbh I think Santana’s versions of " Don’t Rain on my Parade " is better.

“Make a wish” wtf lmfao 😂 I can't with these names Sue just comes out with🤣

The Finn Hudson star

Whenever I rewatch the scene with Finn giving Rachel the star, it just hits so hard. Especially the speech he gives about it.

“So, I just wanted to make sure that whenever she feels lonely, she can look up in to sky and no matter where I’m, she can know that I’m looking down on her.”

Favorite performance of 1x21? (Funk)

NOTE: Kurt's voice is unaltered in Give Up The Funk (I got an interview clip to prove it) so overly-produced vocals should not be considered here as his deep voice is legit. I by no means want this song to win, in fact I actively want it to get 5th, but just like Defying Gravity, still want it to have the fairest possible chance.
-----

Hot take? VA's Another One Bites The Dust was a lot better than their Bohemian Rhapsody. Both were good, but I think AOBTD suited his voice a lot better.
Also I think Loser is one of Finn's best songs, it suited his voice so well.

Ya know, I already hated the song with a passion.. I HATE this song and I didn't think I could hate it more... but the first time I watched this episode and Quinn sang It's A Man's Man's Man's World with THAT choreography and episode context... I literally paused the show for like 5 minutes after it was over and genuinely debated whether I could go on, not just with that episode but with the entire show, that scene alone almost put a stop to my favorite show. I could not believe what I just witnessed. I still can't believe it. It's been 11 years since the first time I watched it and I still can't believe it exists. When I decided to resume the episode instead of throwing my TV out the window, that's when I knew I was a dedicated fan and there was no turning back now.

This is my least favorite episode of S1 , one of my least favorite of the entire series, and my least favorite episode of the entire series for songs...
Thanks for coming to my rant/poll combo post.
------

THEATRICALITY'S WINNER: Was unsurprisingly Bad Romance (🎉), getting 1st with 254. 2nd was Beth (🎉) with 50, 3rd was Poker Face with 44, 4th was Funny Girl with 29, and 5th/last was Shout It Out Loud, only getting 11.

Quinn had a GREAT run.. staying in the Top 6 since Poll 1x02.. she ALMOST made it to the finale... but Bad Romance knocked her 'Little Prayer to 7th place.

One part of the Double Wedding that doesn't make sense to me

Why the heck did Santana walk down the aisle with Blaine and Brittany with Kurt? At this point in the series, Santana and Kurt had lived together in NYC, and Blaine and Brittany had quite a bit of screentime together as classmates at school. IMO, it would have made a lot more sense for Santana to be paired with Kurt and Blaine with Brittany based on the closeness of their characters.

S3:12 the Spanish teacher

This routine does not get talked about enough! Even had Becky crumping and that part wasn’t long enough for me. I wanted more of crumping Becky 👏👏

Ranking every Gleason 1 episode worst to best. What are your thoughts?

I was originally going to tell you my thoughts on each episodes on my rewatch, but that took too long, so I’m doing this instead. I’m almost done rewatching season 2 as well. I don’t dislike a single episode in season 1.

Episode 21, Funk. I don’t like funk music, and the rest of the episode wasn’t that memorable.

Episode 16, Home. While April has gotten better for me on this rewatch, I still find the stuff with her and Will to be pretty boring. Loved the acting in Finn and Carol’s scenes though.

Episode 5, The Rhodes Not Taken. Same reasons as above, but it’s funnier and I prefer the music.

Episode 2, Throwdown. Push it is one of the funniest scenes in the show and Say A Little Prayer is iconic, but the rest? Ehhhhh.

Episode 3, Acafellas

Episode 12, Mattress.

Episode 14, Hell-O.

Episode 8, Mash-Up.

Episode 19, Dream On.

Episode 18, Laryngitis

Episode 7, Throwdown.

Episode 6, Vitamin D.

Episode 13, Sectionals.

Episode 17, Bad Reputation

Episode 9, Wheels

Episode 22, Journey To Regionals.

Episode 4, Preggers.

Episode 10, Ballad

Episode 1, Pilot. One of the best pilots I’ve seen in anything.

Episode 11, Hairography.

Episode 15, Power Of Madonna. “Will Shuester, I hate you.” Is the best lyric change in anything

Episode 20, Theatrically.
