Is it just me or did the Season 2 polls go SIGNIFICANTLY faster than Season 1? It felt like Season 1 took awhile to finish and then it felt like Season 2 we just *zoomed* through.

I am a fan of Fleetwood Mac and admittedly I don't think Glee did any of these songs better than the originals, BUT I do really like Glee's version I Don't Want To Know, it's the one cover from this episode I will listen to on it's own outside of the episode.

For those lucky enough to have played it in the VERY short time it was available, I never got past I Follow Rivers on Glee Forever! I played that level for so long and could never beat it and then they discontinued the game and I'm still not over it after a decade :(
It was genuinely the BEST rhythm game I've EVER played (And I've played a lot, I love rhythm games)
My heart still hurts when I think about this game and that I never got to get further in it.

Anyway, that Glee cover gives me sad nostalgia now but it is genuinely my favorite song this episode.

Anyway. I am yet again wanting to cry trying to pick a favorite. I love every single Warblers performance here (and yes, that includes Candles). (Actually I think Candles is my favorite here)
And since New Directions only performs original songs this episode, it is almost exclusively a Warblers battle here... and 1 song about Jesus.

And if Aural Intensity gets anything other than last I am suing... somebody 🤷‍♂️
I wanted to exclude it so bad but it unfortunately is a full performance and I'm unfortunately fair.
If I didn't like my flair so much I'd change it to Professional Aural Intensity Hater.

I have to apologize yet again to another performance, after rewatching 1x19 Dream On yesterday, I realized I heavily misremembered the scene where they're singing Piano Man, and by my own standards should've counted it as a full performance, but- 🤷‍♂️ too late now.

SEXY'S WINNER: ironically was the only song in the episode NOT about sex, Landslide got 1st with 302, Animal got robbed 2nd with 68, and 3rd was Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah) with 66.

Landslide takes 2nd place on the S2 leaderboard, falling just 6 votes short of 1st. It also takes 4th across all seasons, falling just 6 votes short of 3rd.

I personally loved Glee's version of MCR's Sing but according to most YouTube comments it absolutely sucks. Also I like Sam's Baby infinitely more than Justin Bieber's. The more I listen to I Know What Boys Like, the more I like it.

SILLY LOVE SONGS' WINNER:
1st was P.Y.T with 110 (why do y'all hate me), 2nd was episode title itself - Silly Love Songs with 106, and 3rd was Firework with 98.

Excluding the S1 Top 6 Poll, this is the first initial poll where a Queen song did NOT win, and on top of that, even got last.

You guys got a real knack for making these polls go in almost the exact opposite order I want them to, you know that?
Anyway - my least favorite got 1st and my 2 favorites got last, but regardless, wow! What a close poll that was! Usually by the 30th hour (if that) I can type up the result places awhile on the next (this) poll and just wait til it ends to add the final numbers, but this one remained so close and songs switched places so much that I had to wait until the final hour to write each song's position for these results.

I REALLY hate the song P.Y.T. (Both Glee's and the original) so I'm desperately hoping that doesn't win.

Song-wise, Fat Bottomed Girls was the best performance of the episode, and as a Queen fanatic I don't compliment just any Queen cover like that. But he had a great voice for it.

However, scene-wise, When I Get You Alone definitely had the most going on and was most amusing, and recently the song itself (but only this version) had really grown on me so I gotta go with that.

These are actually the only 2 performances of the episode I like.

Side note: Fat Bottomed Girls is by far the hardest song I ever learned on drums.

A VERY GLEE CHRISTMAS'S WINNER: was me 'cause Baby, It's Cold Outside got 1st with 159 (🎉 but also not enough), 2nd was Last Christmas with 87 (take notes, radio stations), and 3rd was The Most Wonderful Day Of The year with 24.

This is the first poll since it joined the race that Teenage Dream kept its place, not being knocked down and remaining at 5th.

I got conflicting feelings on these results because - Baby, It's Cold Outside DID get 1st which means I don't have to riot or crashout.. BUT it got less than 184, which means I Want To Hold Your Hand remains in the Top 6, but since I guarantee something will come along and knock it out before the season ends, I wish it would've been B,ICO to give it a chance.

Also, I got strong issues with the radio stations at Christmas time because the ONLY Glee cover they EVER play is Last Christmas. And not only is it not the best Glee Christmas cover, it's not even the best cover OF THAT EPISODE (THAT would be Baby, It's Cold Outside)

Personally I prefer the Kurt solo version of Don't Cry For Me, Argentina but that's probably mostly just me and undoubtedly not a surprise to anyone who reads my posts lol. But since it's the duet that's nominated, I choose Hey, Soul Sister, LOVE this performance.

And now I'm gonna drop a hot take: I think Valerie is severely overrated. She sings it great, but I don't think it's her best by any means. (Back To Black - my favorite Santana solo)

I like the singing part of Nowadays/Hot Honey Rag but not a fan of the dancing part. I am a fan of Kurt mouthing the words to the song.
Singing In The Rain/Umbrella is one of my favorite mash-ups of the entire series I thought (and still think) it was SO GOOD the first time I watched it.

Now you may be thinking, "Did you seriously put 'Sing!' as an extra and not 'With You, I'm Born Again'?!" And the answer... is yes. Because although they're both actually MY top 2 of the episode, objectively I think they're also the 2 weakest of the episode, and I NEED to know how many votes With You, I'm Born Again would get, so Sing! gets set aside for now.

Now I'm fully expecting 'Born Again to get last, so I hope Le Jazz Hot! wins. I hate jazz and I hate that song, but love the way Kurt performed it, he deserves to win for the effort alone.

You don't know the strength that it took to put Papa, Can You Hear Me? as an extra and not One Of Us. I hate both, but I hate One Of Us more... unfortunately, I am dedicated to trying to keep the polls fair.. and I would say Papa' is the weakest performance of the episode. I tried very hard to justify excluding One Of Us but just couldn't.

That being said, at least as of typing this before any votes, I have confidence I Want To Hold Your Hand will win, which I'm hoping for, I will riot if it doesn't. And I very much hope Losing My Religion gets 2nd, I think this is in a 1st place tie for Finn's best song (tied with Jessie's Girl)

Also the religion-forcing onto Kurt in this episode including being made to sing a religious song infuriates me and is sadly incredibly realistic. Emma telling Sue to keep her non-religion to herself while simultaneously pushing religion onto Kurt is ESPECIALLY real. Also all the songs Kurt DIDN'T get a solo but they give him a solo during One Of Us?! That's just disrespectful.

That being said: I love Kurt in this episode. THIS was the episode where Kurt became my all-time favorite fictional character (of any & all media). He was already my favorite on Glee but after this? Absolute Kurt Simp.
