Hi guys, I’m looking for a place along the Metra line because I’ll be starting an internship on W. Madison and need a way to get there that’s accessible by Metra. (Is Chicago line better?)

I’ve been looking at some closer to the city, but the rent is 2200 + a lot of the parking fees around $200/month, which is more than I can pay.

I’m hoping to get a place less than $2,000/month with no extra parking fee. I’m also okay on living farther out, about a 40-minute Metra ride, if it helps reduce overall costs.

If anyone has advice on areas that are good for Metra commuting, Id appreciate it.
