How does “use any train” work?
Hey,
Me and a friend are travelling and had an overnight train from Copenhagen to Berlin booked. This was cancelled and we had to book another night of accom in Copenhagen, and will now depart the following day to Berlin.
The ticket says “use any train” and when I asked to rebook, DB said they can’t do that? Can we just get on another train the next day and use our original ticket? What if the train sells out? Is there something else I can do to assure a ticket / seat for the different train?
