I bought a car with 7,000 miles on it from a dealership in February. When I test drove it the pressure light for the right front tire was on. I stupidly did not suspect it could have damage. They took it to the back and “fixed it up.” Two weeks later that same tire was low at 25 and had a nail in it. I went to Discount Tire and they said it wasn’t repairable and I should see what the dealership would be willing to do since the tire was low at the test drive. When I got to the dealership the first guy in the repair department said it wasn’t repairable. He sent me to a manager who then got the manager of the repair area and he said he could repair it. Afterwards I have been looking at this subreddit and have been worried about a blowout. I am driving two hours away for Mother’s Day on Sunday. Up until this point I have only driven within 5-10 miles of home and also had two 20 mile trips. The pressure on the fixed tire is always about 1-2 points above the other tires. Any advice would be appreciated. The pressure is lower now than the 38 in the picture. Thank you.
