I'm out of warranty and my passenger headlamp drl led stopped working a while ago. Driver side headlight replaced while still under warranty. Dealer says these headlight assemblies are $1300 plus tax.

At that price I'd rather disable drl functions entirely. Because new headlights are going to eventually do the same thing.

Looking on rockauto I see depo and Tyc headlamps which are capa certified. Capa sometimes is crappa so I was wondering if any of you had ran these headlights and had some feedback on them? Rockauto shows these as the preferred options.

I really want to get the bad passenger light off there and take it apart. I'm fairly sure these led strips can be fixed with a 50 cent switching transistor but I don't know how or if I can get into the headlamp. On my Toyota I had to pull the bulbs and use a warm oven to separate the lens from the lower housing.

If you have experience with these headlights let me know . If nobody does then I will report back in a few weeks.

Need rear wheel bearings and the dealer said roughly 1700 after tax to do them. Since they are full hub assemblies I'll just do them myself.

Normally I would just buy the timken bearings and keep moving along. However, on rockauto the preferred (heart icon) is actually a moog bearing.

I use moog on my jeep and Infiniti so I'm sure it's fine too.

But I figured I would post here to see if anyone has direct experience with these two rear ascent wheel bearing choices. If nobody does then I'll report back after a couple months so it helps someone else.
