My apologies to swatch stick enjoyers
When I first got into indie/boutique nail polish, I thought the idea of swatching one’s own polishes was, frankly, a bit silly. You have the bottles, why not just look at them to know what’s in your collection?
Well, now I know why not. After one too many instances of wondering if I had duped myself with a purchase or if I currently had anything in my collection like XYZ polish, I started swatching, and I had so much fun! I got to see so many polishes I’ve ordered but haven’t had a chance to wear yet, and yup, they do look different on the “nail” than in the bottle. And the pleasure I feel just looking at that fan of pretty colors is really something.
So I’m posting to apologize for my previous ignorance. And to show off my swatch collection before everything I have on order comes in and I have to split it between two rings.
On my nails: 1x Cracked ridge filler, 3x Uno Mas Que Caliente!, 1x BKL QDTC.
