Bad timing, I know.

Weirdly, I have yet to buy yaegirs and I think now might be the time. I usually build the models for looks, but that decision is quite tough with the yaegirs.

It seems that 11^(th) might favour melee somewhat, so blades seem like a good choice. On the other hand, Pragmatic Hunters would work better with shotguns.

Question is: What are your experiences with yaegir loadouts after playing with them, and do you prefer blades or shotguns? Also, do you take the special weapons on the melee variant?

(And let’s be honest, the models won’t get built before 11^(th) edition anyway. Hope these guys don’t get a huge points change.)
