Hey all!
Full disclosure: I am not the most experienced player. I do take time going trough the rules, learning the game and taking my time in the hobby. I just havent got too many games under my belt so far.
My most recent game was with Adeptus Mechanicus against Emperor's Children. In my list I allied a Knight Destrier because i had to stretch my points a little and i wanted to try out the new knight. It was my first game with a Destrier, that said i have used knights before. As a matter of fact i am putting together a list at the very moment and want them confidently as my second army (my first being AdMech).
Now, the shock came from one simple thing: the Destrier fell in a single fight phase against a Lord Exultant and 5 Infractors accompanying him. She was running Peerless Bladesmen detachment, but still. Their version of a "Captain" model and 5 of their basic melee infantry guys killed the full wound Destrier, her Lord doing 12 damage all by themselves.
Of course i wasnt salty about it, the whole game had good vibes and it was a friendly game. I was just surprised that Knights can be killed so easily, especially by something half their points cost. Are knights really this squishy?
