fresh tragus (pierced today) and fresh conch (pierced yesterday). both are titanium studs, internally threaded (dw about the star, my piercer carefully explained how to take care of it and how to clean properly under the points). pierced with 16g needles.

later this week i am getting both conch and tragus (not in the same session, long story), and while i am overall prepared for them, i'm still a bit worried. so there are things i should know beforehand?

is it true you can hear the sound of the needle going through the cartilage?
