Did a coolant flush on my 2002 BMW 330CI last week and ended up putting a copper crush washer on the engine block drain plug. I decided to go back in there and just replace it with the correct aluminum washer (block is aluminum) and in the process, I reused the coolant I drained from the engine as it's basically new. Given the coolant dripped down the side of the motor, which did have some small amount of oil residue on it, should I worry about damage to my cooling system?
