Just wanted to drop this here in case anyone else was frustrated with this. Only in MyNBA mode was I getting annoying stuttering and frame drops (sometimes massively) but fine all the rest of the time, but the culprit is autosave. Turn it off and the stuttering will stop, but make sure you save after your games.

Does mean if the game crashes it won't be saved when you reload then I guess, but it fixes the stutters.
