Hey folks,

I’m working on a 3D printable corner staircase display shelf (for small figurines), and I’ve got a model that’s about 95% where I want it. I’ll drop the link to the current file in the comments. https://makerworld.com/en/models/2583663-corner-staircase-figure-display-rack?from=search#profileId-2849892

I could really use some help from someone more experienced with modeling, especially on a couple of things:

  • The staircase railing design, right now it’s very basic and not really matching the look I’m going for. I’m aiming for something a bit more like a proper baluster style railing (clean but slightly decorative).
  • The railings also aren’t properly connected to the stairs/platform, so they don’t feel structurally correct for printing.
  • I want to increase the usable shelf space in front of the doors to around 5–6 inches, so it can actually hold small showpieces.
  • Ideally, I’d also like to add proper wall-mount support (like hidden brackets or a strong back plate), so it can be mounted safely.

I’m using a Bambu A1, so anything optimized for that would be great.

If anyone’s interested in tweaking the model or guiding me on how to improve it, I’d really appreciate it. Even small pointers would help a lot.

PS. i dont have much powerfull machine to edit 3D files 🫠🥲

Thanks in advance!
