Hi, I’m a mechanical engineer in the us and i need a laptop that can last me 4 years at least and my budget is 1700$ and under
Sadly i didn’t find any of the specs i found in my budget even though i don’t mind open boxes or lightly used ones
The specs i want is,
32gb ram (if theres any other student that can confirm 16gb is enough then i don’t mind it)
A dedicated gpu
an amd cpu since they’re more efficient i assume?
And great battery life?
Any screen size if its light
Idk if theres any deals coming soon but sadly i don’t have much time left since i start college at the 25th of this month

And kinda of a weird question why does everyone hate remote accessing to their personal pc or the college computers lab? Because i have a strong gaming pc and been thinking about getting a macbook but i never see anyone mention this

i have a 30 hour flight with like 11 hours of layover in total and i want to download my favorite series and movies

i learned a little bit on setting it up and using community hosted addons but im still very lost and wish if there was actual good youtube vids on how to self host and use most features

And when i downloaded the app on my ios iphone.. its like a whole different world theres no section for addons, cannot download, cannot search shows on it? Why not

I need the 5070 ti BNIB, open box, slightly used, if its either of the last two ill need to see it running at least, color don’t matter and would buy 2 if youd offer a good price.

So i was starting my journey today as an audiophile, bought an xs edition + fiio k11 (sadly not the r2r version)

I asked ai if i need anything else and he told me to get a capra strap since ive never worn headphones of that size but il just wait until i get it and see for my self
It also told me to ditch the cable completely that comes with it and that it underpowered my whole rig, and told me to buy a dual 3.3mm cable to 4.44mm stable
But hell those are 50$ from aliexpress lmao. Is it lying to me?
