So, I've just finished my first album (actually been done for about 3 months, but okay), and I feel like the album contains my best work so far in my career.

But you see, that's the problem! The songs in the album have cool concepts accompanied with lyricism that actually follow through (in my eyes). But I'm now choking on every song idea/concept I come up with. They aren't that interesting and lacks that "special" something.

So what do I do now? Should I take a break? Or just keep trying to come up with ideas until something sticks?

I could really use some guidance!

So I regularly use the multi distortion/filter plugin Output Thermal and looking for other similar plugins, I like the huge preset library since I'm not the best at building effects from the ground up, I do however tweak them. Is there any other plugins with both the capability and preset library that you would suggest?

This is my first time making a hyperpop song, was a lot of fun making it and it felt good to go outside my comfort zone!
