My current lineup of commanders I will typically pull out as of this year.

Ive been playing for over a year and a half and have made more decks than this, but in the last four and a half months these are the decks I have found myself most gravitated towards.

Shiko and Narset is just the base precon, usually keep this on hand in case the pod wants some lower power. Nothing special here.

Urza, Lord Protector is an artifact deck, and I believe I have only successfully melded him in games maybe twice, and not for a lack of trying. Definitely not the strongest deck out there, but he has his moments in the sun. I think the few games he has won has been via upsets through resolving [[Cyberdrive Awakener]].

Eluge is my most recent deck I have made, and he is a bracket four deck built relatively cheap. Turns out reduced cost interaction on each of my opponents turns is pretty good, who would have thought. Usually wins by leveraging extra turn spells for cheap, or in the case of one isolated example, essentially lock your friend out of playing the game when he foolishly animates all of his lands and swings out only to be met with an [[Aetherize]].

Lastly, my baby. Everyone has a pet deck. Oh boy is this mine. Samwise is an interesting one. Technically, you could make the case that this was my third deck ever, except thats not entirely true. This was built using the skeleton of my third deck which was helmed by [[Treebeard, Gracious Host]]. Before helmed by Samwise, it was a very simple deck. Gain life, pump Treebeard, swing out. This was my introduction to the concept of voltron. Needless to say, this was also my last time playing voltron. It was a one trick pony, and I eventually got bored of it. That was when I turned it into Samwise a little over a year ago. And let me tell you, it has changed a lot over the year. It started out fairly simple. Lots of legends and other historics to recur from my graveyard as needed, make some food, leverage the food in different ways. In the early days, it won with the two card infinite [[Rosie Cotton of South Lane]] and [[Scurry Oak]]. This left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth, so i took scurry oak out. I wanted to go infinite, but not with two cards. I stand firmly that I want this deck to always stay in bracket three no matter what. So, one of my later renditions included [[Emiel the Blessed]]. I would use this along with samwise and whatever food multipliers I had on the field paired with [[Jaheria, Friend of the Forest]] or [[Night of the Sweets’ Revenge]] to make infinite foods, and Rosie would let my board get as large as possible. Paired with [[Overwhelming Stampede]] or other effects that give trample, I could swing out for game. Infinite, but more pieces needed to assemble than before. But then… I got fogged. No less, by a fellow Selesnya player! Betrayed! I could go infinite all I want, but if I cant actually connect with combat damage, I’m kinda toast. Thats when Samwise underwent The Great Change. Also when he got a lot more pricey in terms of cards. I try not to think about that part. Anyways, I decided I needed an alternative way to win. One that didnt require combat. The quick and dirty way I can currently do it is through [[Aetherflux Reservoir]] but thats kinda boring, and Make no mistake, the deck in its current state can still win via combat in essentially the same aforementioned way described, but these lines are not usually the lines I shoot for. One day, when looking for ways to get some more card draw in the deck because frankly, its not exactly the best in Selesnya if you want consistent draw, I came across [[Wedding Ring]]. Kind of a funny card, marry an opponent and you get some benefits, and so do they through symmetrical card draw and lifegain during either player’s turn. Then I thought to myself, what if i could sac my wedding ring? I can easily get it back with samwise, and I can marry another opponent. We can make a polycule! As i thought about it, I realized that Wedding Ring in this deck is actually now one of my wincons, as with the right setup, I can sac my wedding ring and recast it as many times as I want, giving my opponents more and more wedding rings, and all I need to do is draw one single card on my turn. This is where my deck is currently at. It doesn’t win all the time, but I have gotten the polycule combo to work several times, and it is usually the way I will try to primarily win with the deck. In general, barring exile wipes, the deck is super resilient as I have numerous ways to get any of my cards out of my graveyard.
