is there such thing as an ICBC Bill of Sale document? (Buying a moped with no papers in hope of registering it down the line)

I'm planning on buying a moped from an owner who doesnt have the registration, (i believe the vehicle was either inherited by the current owner or abandoned on their property) with the hopes I can request a vehicle record search with ICBC and get the vehicle registered under my name later down the line. My question to anyone who might know about this process would be, is this a bad idea that wont work? and/or what I can do before and during the purchase to maximize my chances of success with a future registration. I saw that ICBC recommends having a "completed bill of sale" as a supporting document for the search, but I can't find a template for this outside of the traditional ownership transfer papers you would use when buying a vehicle and transferring reg in a typical scenario. If anyone has any tips of this subject they would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
