Hey all where are people buying their parts from nowadays? I just want oem (or better) parts shipped to me but not at dealer prices.
Specifically I’m looking for ignition coils for my new to me 2008 k1200s, if anyone could recommend a site or manufacturer it’d be much appreciated, dealer is $1000 for 4 coils but I’ve found “enduralast” coils for $99 a piece which is fine by me but are they any good?
Hey all, long time bmw driver here and I just picked up my first bmw bike yesterday, i love it.
I’m looking to do some maintenance today and just wondering about a couple things that hopefully someone could help me with.
Mainly how do I change the gearbox fluid in this bike? It’s my first dry clutch bike and I’m seeing some people say the engine oil is shared with the gearbox and some loose guides that don’t really have pictures or don’t look like my bike. Drive fluid was first on the list as I know it’s overdue but I’d love to put some good gearbox fluid in it if I can while I’m at it.
Also is it normal for the center stand to have side-side play? It’s stable when the bikes on the stand but it seems really sloppy when I turn the front wheel or when it’s up. It tips the bike to left when pushing it off the stand which very uncomfortable, but I’ll probably get used to it.

Edit: I was misled by some videos that I had watched on similar k1200’s, it is a wet multi-plate clutch according to the owners manual.
