22(F) and 23(M)
Hey everybody,
I came on here to get some advice. My girlfriend(22F) and me(23F) started dating a few months ago. She graduated college and had to move back to her town with her family. We both live in California and are about a 4.5-5 hour drive from eachother.
When we first got together we made plans for the future because we knew we were going to have to do long distance. The plan would be for her to move down here in two years to live with eachother. She recently broke the news that it’s most likely going to be more towards 3 due to the factor of her only being able to work part time because she is going to have to do volunteer work for her career and she has to save up for a new car. I kinda had my limit set on 2 but when she said 3 I just wasn’t sure, because I really do love her. What would be your guys advice on this? Is 5 hours killer and would 3 years be too long for you guys?
Also, a little bit of an insecurity thing that I know I have. How do you guys deal with your friends judging you for being in a long distance relationship? Already told multiple people and they call me crazy and I can tell they think of my differently. But like, why do you care about my love life lol?
