Stolen Back Pack
Hello! Myself and a few friends are in town (as I’m sure you can guess) for the eclipse and to explore this incredible country! An immense amount of time
and effort has been made to scrounge up the money and time to be here.
Unfortunately, while camped near Hallgrimskirkja from the 11th-12th, my book bag was taken from
the front seat of the camper while we were asleep inside. (don’t ask why the doors weren’t locked.. lesson learned!)
I emailed the police department and will call in the morning. We also looked in garbages and bushes, etc, around the area.
Though nothing was particularly valuable, many things were extremely important to me. Inside were a blue checkered back containing my glasses, contacts amongst other toilet tree and makeup essentials. My glasses are costly to replace.
A box with jewelry I made from an assortment of sentimental beads. As well as copper wire, beads and jewelry tools.
Pink JBL headphones and other miscellaneous items.
This could have been so much worse, and I am so so grateful that I’ve kept my documents and other vital items on me at all times.
This country is incredible and I’m so so happy to be here! I would just love to have these items back before I return home.
