What do you use your GC/GF for? Here is my blue GF on its maiden voyage after I got the base setup done. This was a "street setup" with all-weather Yokohamas on Speedline ST2s during an Autox event at Summit Point, WV.
So everyone comes into their car of choice via some specific story for the most part. What brought you to yours?
For me it’s was this. That’s me and my team mate running the inaugural Appalachian Tarmac Rally Sprint on a 2000 GC8 Logged Rally Car with a bad head gasket. LoL Luckly my team manager let me set up the suspension myself and with a fresh set of federals I was able to place 4th overall. Granted… this was not because I’m some great driver. A couple cars hire in then rankings DNF’ed. LoL mainly and R5 car and a R2 car. 😅
So heres my OG build. 1997 OBS/WRX. This was a fun car and did great on track and road. I miss this one. EJ205 mated to an 03 WRX 5 speed and diff. Simple. Light. Basic. BC Racing Coilovers, Eibach 22mm swaybars. 4 pot front, 2 pot rear WRX TR Brakes. This took some time but it was a solid car. It was consistent and predictable on track.
