Hi guys, reading some of your posts really made me sad. I get it I think I was there. hell I'm still there... But at some point I realized I got to start actually doing something so I tried and failed miserably and tried again giving life a chance. In the end What could we do? We either adapt or we are doomed. It felt like hell but I got to a point that I think I can make it atleast for now I'm ok. Please try your best don't give up on life yet

Hi guys, I'm in process of setting up a table top games community for my friends. I had a test sub where I was setting it up step by step and was pretty happy with how it was shaping up. Today I realized to my absolute surprise, It got banned. I was working on it on an alt new account maybe that was the culprit... Not sure. I know I should send modmail to modsupport but that account was so new that I can't even send a modmail apparently. What should I do?

I don't care about the test sub I just want to get the setup back It took me days to figure it out. What you guys think I should do? Please help me get that setup back

Hey guys,

I have a small online community of about 100 people. We’ve been living on Discord for a while, but because it's so chat heavy, cool posts and ideas get buried way too fast. I want to spin up a subreddit so everyone has a permanent place to post and archive their stuff.

To keep it tight-knit atleast for now, the sub is going to be restricted from the start and everyone will be manually verified and approved. But I plan to open it later

Given that it's a closed group and I already kinda know everyone, what kind of moderation tools do I realistically need to set up? Do I even need to worry about AutoMod or external bots if public randoms can't post anyway? Should I be mostly looking for recommendations on fun, engaging, or genuinely useful bots to spice things up, along with whatever bare-minimum settings I shouldn't ignore. I don't know where to look and that's my main issue

(Also, if this is a super repetitive question or if there’s a better sub to ask this in, please point me in the right direction. Also a link to a solid guide for Reddit community creation would be amazing.)
