People should go straight to university after O Level

My opinion is that people in Zim should go to university straight after O level instead of spending 2 more years doing A Level.

People often say that after O Level you're too young or not mature enough to understand complex concepts. I don't think that's true. Young people usually learn faster and adapt more quickly than older people. It's better to repeat a semester while you still young than repeating A Level doing some wide materials that you are not going to specialize on.

For most STEM degreeprograms( engineering and etc) the first semester covers much of the same mathematics, chemistry, biology and etc, taught at A Level. The main difference is the pace. Lecturers move much faster because they assume students already know the basics.Instead of repeating similar content for two years, students could learn it directly at university.

Graduating at around 20 years old also gives people more time to explore different career paths, start businesses, gain experience, or even study further. Unlike the late twenties, many people are already dealing with marriage, raising children, paying rent, and other financial responsibilities. Those pressures make it much harder to take risks or pursue innovative ideas, especially in Africa.

Some people may disagree with my arguments, but one thing is certain time is more valuable than money.

It's similar to Olympic gymnastics. The chances of winning a gold medal are much lower if you only start training as an adult. Starting earlier gives you more time to develop your skills and reach your full potential.

Is it fair being done by these data lines Zol and Telone etc

At the moment Netone has proved to be the best Telecommunication at providing data.Sim card cost $1 and easy to get just ID card and here we go. Then there is these data lines like Zol and Telone sim card cost range $20-100 (expensive than dstv decoder), hard to get, poor network, take 1 minute to open tiktok and you even wonder these guys are selling sim cards or network which service are they into??? manufacturing sim cards and sell at high price or providing poor network 🤣🙌🏾🙌🏾.

NB This situation special in Harare.

Django Htmx Question

I am using django and htmx to build simple e ecommerce site. From someone who had practice some basics of React and Next.js while long time back then.

The way they(react/next.js)route the pages move from one page to another and layouts it seemed so easy because it use json unlike in my case I am using django templating.

When you are moving page to page, routing and rendering templates fragments with django htmx that means html layout is going to change, you have worry about full page refresh, css, and moving from one page to another etc.

My question how do you build layouts like in React to efficiently maintain SPA in htmx.

I have tried to find tutorials and tutorial I find they are only focused on small parts of the websites not on the big picture where everything is connected.

The Chahwanda Stadium safety and security crisis: Dynamos vs Hardrock

Chahwanda Stadium is too small to hold men's national games, especially if they can't contain the hooliganism of a local match.

Both PSL league and the host failed to offer security. From videos clips, I spotted only one police officer inside the stadium, which is highly questionable.

Lastly, Zimbabwe has already been struggling to host men's World Cup and AFCON qualifying matches in Zim due to a lack of football infrastructure. Chahwanda Stadium was promising to be approved by CAF, and this situation has raised more eyebrows about the safety and security of fans and players.
