I plan on making an internet series about 3 friends who live in a rented house together in a suburban neighborhood in the American midwest. This is supposed to take place in the mid 2000s (namely 2004, 2005, and 2006). I'm 17 and haven't lived in the mid 2000s! (I was born in 2008). What should I do to make this very authentic to the mid 2000s?

I know we all bid our time but do you get more accepting of your death as you get older or smth??
