So as an Amhara person I've noticed ANY time I embrace my culture, it makes others (especially oromos) immensely catty like just being Amhara is an attack on them??? especially on TikTok I noticed they rushed to post their own version of teddy afro's song... what would compel you to do this If you didn't have immense inferiority complex and hated the sight of amharas.... anyways I think the best way to combat this is to just unapollegetically embrace being Amhara that alone immensely triggers the others because of our rich culture ( ge'ez, injera, Habesha clothes, music, poetry etc) . Anytime I defended teddy they become so incredibly angry lol.... from now on I am vocal about my Amhara heritage, I suggest to other amharas to do the same.

We have been systematically shamed since the DERG regime for being Amhara but other ethnic groups don't have an ounce of our history (except from Tigray) so we should celebrate it! If any other ethnic group even had a quarter of our history they wouldn't shut about it non-stop so why are amharas so humble???
