What are you missing?

What’s your “dream tool” for prediction markets (more specifically wondering for those focused on sports prediction)?

Not talking picks or models — just tools.

I.e. What’s something you wish existed that would actually make your process easier (tracking bets, odds, CLV, line movement, anything)?

Or like, what is just really frustrating to you about your current user experience? TIA ✌🏼

A cleaner way to compare sportsbook odds & track movement

We’ve been working on a small odds tool and figured we’d share it here in case it’s useful for anyone doing actual market analysis. (Site is live, app will launch soon)

We got annoyed with how most odds sites are either slow or not great for comparing books or tracking movement in a clean way — especially if you’re trying to move quickly across markets or do anything even slightly more analytical. Also strongly dislike paywalls and clutter.

So we’ve been building Compare N Bet with a focus on UI simplicity and usability more than anything else:

  • real-time odds from multiple sportsbooks in one view
  • normalized markets so lines are actually comparable across books
  • quick filtering across games, markets, and props
  • clean line movement tracking without a lot of noise
  • generally trying to keep it fast and low-friction instead of cluttered

Still pretty early and very open to feedback, especially from people who actually use models / track CLV / think in terms of market efficiency.

If there’s anything you wish existing tools did better from a workflow standpoint, we’d genuinely like to hear it. We will add it if it provides value to users.

Sportsbooks & Parlays

Why do you think sportsbooks push parlays so hard?

Not saying parlays are bad — I still throw them in sometimes too. But it feels like bettors evaluate them completely differently than straight bets, and sportsbooks know that.

If a straight bet moves from -110 to -120, people immediately care.

But on a +650 SGP, almost nobody asks whether the payout should actually be closer to +800.

Feels like once multiple legs get bundled together, people become way less price-sensitive and focus more on the payout than the actual pricing.

Curious what you think sportsbooks benefit more from:

  • math behind parlays
  • psychology of bigger payouts?

Feedback from Experienced Bettors

Curious what experienced bettors here think wastes the most time in the betting process?

Not asking for picks — more about workflow/process inefficiencies.

I’ve noticed a lot of bettors still juggle multiple tabs, apps, screenshots, alerts, spreadsheets, etc. just to compare lines and track movement.

What actually slows you down the most?

  • Finding the best number?
  • Refreshing books constantly?
  • Tracking line movement?
  • Odds boosts/promos?
  • Slow apps?
  • Props discovery?
  • Something else entirely?

Interested to hear how people here approach it, especially higher-volume bettors. TIA ✌🏼
