Different but similar?
Feels like it might be the same/similar room, the girl on the tv looks like Sparxie/sparkle.
Not sure if there is any relevance to Sampo but I just to point out since Sampo disguised as Sparxie appeared here.

Added Spoiler for those who have not yet played 4.3 or watched the trailer.
----------------------
I think there is some connection between him and Asat.
Beside the improv trailer that mentions Golden Branch and Midas Touch which are what Sampo Represents based on Finnish Mythology.
Midas Touch = Turns anything to Gold
Sampo = Object that creates gold
I think, Sampo represents Optimism(good) of Elation that Asat wanted to see and Asat discarded that mask since he felt that Elation wasn't the answer.
I could be wrong but it's just a theory.
Either Sampo picked up the mask left behind about Enroute and followed the Path of Elation and became an Emanator.
>!You can read my previous post about my theory of mine. !<
>!<
>!<
>!Before I start, none of this is confirmed. This theory also references a recent leak, so take everything with a grain of salt.!<
>!One leak circulating on Telegram claims that Asat is a mask of Isee.!<
>!Whether the leak is true or not, it got me thinking about something Sampo said in 4.3:!<
>!"Its owner grew tired of jokes, cast aside his mask, and walked away."!<
>!Asat was originally Enroute himself, with an old mask that everyone knew. Then he grew tired of jokes, abandoned Elation, and cast aside his mask.!<
>!So Isee is Asat's original identity. Isee does not look like Enroute. Let's be real, if Isee had the same face as Enroute, wouldn't everyone recognize him immediately?!<
>!When Akivili "died" or vanish and Nanook was born as an Aeon, I believe Aha was the one who blew up the Astral Express for shits and giggles, possibly to spite Isee. At this point, I am sure Aha had been watching Enroute/Isee's journey for a long time.!<
>!Isee believed it was Aha who "killed" Akivili, and somehow during this era Nanook rose as well. Was the birth of Destruction caused by this incident?!<
>!We know Isee became a Lord Ravager and has been planning ever since to end Elation through the means of Verocity sealed within Planarcadia.!<
>!When he became a Lord Ravager, this is where I believe Isee created a new mask and became Asat. The new mask has the power of Elation (Dicean) combined with the power of Destruction as he is the Ravager of Destruction.!<
>!Now we come to the mask that Enroute cast aside when he left Elation in search of the true world's end.!<
>!This is where Sparkle and Sparxie come in. Planarcadia introduced the idea that if there is enough wishpower, an Imaginae can continue to exist on its own.!<
>!Sparxie also used Himeko's mask, which was safeguarded by Dolly in the school, to enter the Phatasmoon Game.!<
>!So here is what we know:!<
>!There is one mask that has been teased ever since Penacony and continues to be relevant now: Sampo's mask.!<
>!I believe Sampo is not a real person, but rather an Imaginae of the old Enroute. Maybe the legends have changed over time and people forgot what Enroute actually looked like, but the story of him lives on. That alone could have given Sampo enough wishpower to continue existing.!<
>!Meanwhile, the mask Sampo possesses may have originally belonged to Enroute/Asat.!<
>!I believe that mask holds a significant power, one capable of rivaling Asat or diverting a future crisis in Belobog.!<
>!Unrelated to this topic, but I have a feeling that Akivili vanished when Aha blew up the Astral Express.!<
>!Not because Aha directly killed Akivili, but because the train lost its identity and the power of Akivili, causing him to vanish.!<
>!So when the Express was eventually repaired, did it actually become a new train?!<
>!Pom-Pom mentioned that he doesn't remember how Himeko joined the Express, and he also talked about being in a floating dream. Those details always felt strange to me.!<
>!The Express might carry both the power of Trailblaze and Elation.!<
>!Maybe an Imaginae was even involved in repairing the train. Everyone in Planarcadia has been watching and remembering the Trailblaze for who knows how long. Wouldn't that generate an enormous amount of wishpower?!<
>!Could that wishpower have been enough to sustain, restore, or even recreate the Astral Express?!<
4.3 Introduced us to Enroute and one line from Sampo has been screaming in my head rent-free ever since:
The way Sampo phrases it is what caught my attention:
"Its owner grew tired of jokes, cast aside his mask, and walked away."
Its owner?
The wording specifically separates the owner from the mask.
After the Sparkle/Sparxie storyline, we know that an Imaginae can exist independently and still retain a connection to a discarded mask. That got me thinking:
What if we're supposed to pay attention to the distinction between the owner and the mask here as well?
My theory is that the owner Sampo refers to was the original Enroute himself, who eventually became Asat Pramad.
The mask, however, was abandoned.
And what if that abandoned Fool persona, Imaginae, or living memory eventually became the Sampo we know today?
This would explain several things:
Under this theory, Sampo isn't Enroute himself but an Imaginae of him.
Perhaps Sampo even hid his own mask away with Sparkle because he was ashamed of what Elation had become, or because he no longer wanted to be associated with the path the original owner eventually took.
So, in simple terms:
Original Enroute was a real person.
That person eventually became Asat Pramad.
The Enroute remembered by legends and stories never truly disappeared.
That legacy survived as an Imaginae, a living memory, or a lingering Fool persona that now exists under the guise of Old Sampo.
Which would explain why Sampo knows Enroute so well.
Not because he researched him.
Not because he heard stories about him.
But because he is, in a way, the last remaining memory of Enroute himself.
Am I completely overthinking this, or does the distinction between "owner" and "mask" feel deliberate after everything 4.x has been teaching us about identities, masks, personas, and Imaginae?
>!Ashveil and March were trying to uncover who or what Asat Pramad really is.!<
>!Ignoring Sparkle/Sparxie for a moment, something caught my attention when a random blue-haired Sampo suddenly appeared and started dropping information about Enroute.!<
>!Below are some of the things Old Sampo tells Ashveil and March: !<
>!'Grew tired of jokes, cast aside his mask and walked away' - Does that sound suspiciously similar to what Sampo would do as well. !<
>!'Mourning actor'? - Sampo was also been linked to the Mourning Actors before.!<
>!We know Enroute was, or at least had tied to, the Masked Fools.!<
>!Shows up where he is least welcome? !<
>!That description sounds like Sampo's Job as well...!<
>!What stood out to me was this !<
>!What I find strange is that Enroute was supposedly important enough to be recorded in history books, yet nobody in the Tavern seemed able to find concrete information about Enroute or Asat Pramad.!<
>!Just when Ashveil/March questioned how he knew these, blue clown replied!<
>!So now he claimed to have his 'OWN CHANNELS'!<
>!my guy???? you are contradicting yourself.!<
>!How is that, Sampo randomly appear at such an impeccable timing, dropped a LORE of Enroute that NO ONE knows about with such details.!<
>!Another thing that stands out:!<
>!Lord Ravager Asat Pramad was apparently nearby and listening to the conversation.!<
>!If Sampo was revealing information that could connect the dots, why didn't Asat stop him?!<
>!Even stranger, Ashveil can sense Emanators, yet there doesn't seem to be any reaction toward Sampo.!<
>!Boothill was able to uncover Sampo's identity through chance encounters.!<
>!If Sampo is something more than he appears to be, could he have hidden himself so completely that neither Ashveil nor Asat noticed?!<
>!Or did Asat notice and deliberately allow the conversation to happen?!<
>!Before I bring up more questions and possibly connect some dots?!<
>!The meaning of "Enroute."!<
>!Enroute:!<
>!Who does that sound like?!<
>!Sampo.!<
>!A character who:!<
>!There's also a recurring 4.X theme involving multiple identities and personas.!<
>!Asat has multiple identities.!<
>!Himeko's story touches on similar ideas.!<
>!Who else constantly uses different personas?!<
>!Sampo:!<
>!At this point I'm wondering:!<
>!What if Sampo was once Enroute?!<
>!And Asat later took that identity the same way he took Ryusuke's identity?!<
>!Or maybe Enroute was connected to Isee, the former Astral Express Starseer.!<
>!Or maybe I'm reaching so hard to a point that Aha is laughing at me from across the Imaginary Tree as I type this. LMFAO!<
>!My current theory is that Sampo was once Enroute, possibly as part of his old Masked Fool identity, and that Asat later took over that identity the same way he took Ryusuke's. This might be a reach, but what if Asat also assumed the identity of Isee, the former Astral Express Starseer, which allowed Ashveil to absorb the shadow later on? The other possibility is that Enroute himself planted the shadow on the Astral Express and intentionally set it on a path toward Zulo for Ashveil to find. If that's true, then the entire chain of events may have been orchestrated far earlier than we realize.!<
>!Or was Sampo who crashed the Express to Acardia? which also explains why he never stepped in or was invited?!<
