I am in the process of being diagnosed with a cognitive tissue disease as in I have gotten the diagnosis muxed cognetive tissue disease because of my symptoms. But now I got a positive blood test that pointed towards scleroderma… looking at the symptoms It matches a lot with what I have got. But some things is a bit unclear if is related or if I have etc. Hope someone here might make it a bit clearer

I rock climb so my skin on my hands is naturally tick and is stiff etc.
so when my doctor asked If I had noticed my skin being ticker or having changes, become more stiff etc. I was really unsure. Looked at pictures on google but not really sure what the pictures that isn’t extreme is showing. Could someone maybe explain this a bit clearer as in how those skin chages looks snd feel like?

I do get these tiny dots I thought was warts until my doctor said he doesn’t think they are and I also see I actually have them all over my palms. Will post pictures (yeah I might have picked on the worst area with them….)
Does anyone have something similar?

Ok. I just wanted too post this because I have observed a trend in this group and any medical group for that matter.

Every time people ask for help and its not super clear what is going on. Or is posting something from a watch. people especially the ones that has medical expertise, seems too just assume you are a hypochondriac for asking about anything?
Like it isn’t natural too be curious about something also health wise.
I think most people posting in groups like this, me included knows going too medical professionals is better than asking people in the internet. And a 12 lead is much better. Of course.
But this group was made for a reason was it not?
Getting a doctors appointment isn’t as quickly done and cheap as lots of comments make it out too be. And getting a referral to cardiology especially.

getting some feedback on things you have noticed from people that may or may not help you decide whether its worth going too the doctor or not is great in my opinion.
But Every time I have posted I feel like people are so quick to dismiss, downvote questions etc.
I really don’t feel like people are trying too help?
Like every time a watch is mentioned I feel like people in this group is so quick too say artifact even when its stated that people have tried too rule it out etc.
Yes I see that it might be artifact lots of the time, and that watches are not the most reliable way of getting a ecg. But for me at least I would appreciate that maybe people was a bit more curious about why a surtain artifact pattern or similar happens when the common causes are ruled out. Instead of complete dismissal or downvoting when you when you disagree.
Because I don’t think most people are hypochondriacs or dumb. So that most people also is able too understand that things can be artifact if you was not following the tips on how too take a good reading, and then try to minimise it etc. and if if a surtain pattern persists then is it not natural of people too be curious about what it could be?
I and I think most others knows that a answer here isn’t a diagnosis. But learning that similar thing can happen in surtain situations or people experienced similar things etc. is good too know about because then you can discuss it with a doctor in a better way later.
I see time and time again people with weird readings only receiving help from private people that experienced something similar. While the medical professionals are dismissive.
I have seen this on so many post also not just mine.
And I am genuinely curious as too why that is?

I will post an example of a pattern that keeps showing up on my tracings.
Which is that the segments between the qrs keeps changing morphology etc. even how hard I have tried too get a clear recording it happens and it happens over multiple readings. And no matter where I put my watch on my body and what finger i use how dry the clock and my skin is etc. the pattern is there.

All the help and genuine advice I received was from private people who have experienced the same. And some had similar patterns that turned out too actually being a real physical reason for it.
And for those people I thank you greatly.
While the professionals seemed dismissive no matter what I said.
So I am asking why?

I am going too show the replies too my doctor on my next appointment. And I am thankful for those of you who actually did genuinely try too help me.

Isn’t helpful when something is more consistent.
And the tekst states reasons why they don’t think that is the full explanation.

So I have had weird symptoms happening for some time now. I wont be going into what exactly but if necessary I will give context.

I will also say I am completely aware that apple watches are not that reliable etc.
but its not just the ecg that are weird. Its that the same pattern seems too happen when I am experiencing this weird chest sensation.
And my doctor couldn’t tell what it could be. He also based on symptoms and that I have so many similar readings has tried to refer me for a 24 hour ecg.
But because I am awaiting an appointment too something else they have declined my doctors referral two times.

And I am curious as too what it could be too say the least. The other appointment can’t give me a date jet so I am probably not getting an appointment in the near future.

I have tried googling. I have tried Ai. But nobody has given me a answer that isn’t just in the line of watches are bad. Or artifact. Trust me. I have tried everything too minimise artifact. That isn’t it. The pattern happens even if I put the watch on different body parts and with different fingers.

Yes my rytm seems stable . Its worth mentioning that I am over average fit. And my normal resting bpm is in the 50-60. And when this happens my bpm normally stays above 100.
If you don’t see what I am talking about. Its that the segment between the QRS seems too constantly change morphology. In a video clip taken while recording my heartbeats by phone speaker. The sound also seemed to change a bit simultaneously with the weird wavyness.
These episodes can last for hours but are not constant. I often experience dizziness simultaneously.

I have probably over a 100 similar recordings. What could cause readings like this. Even if I hold my breath it happens

Going to start of with yes I am aware that watches arn’t that great and that a 12 lead is much better etc. problem is I got denied it when my doctor tried to refer me because I took a 24 hour one 2/3 years ago and it was fine (didn’t have weird symptoms then doe) Ok, so there is one thing that I really can’t find the reason for. I get told its artifact every time I try too find the reason. The thing is, yeah it might be, but I can’t find a way too stop it? And my watch is ok as other people tried it on too see if they would have the same problem.
It seems my watch struggles too read my signals
Tried too be as still as you can possibly be, no close electronics, tried to put it over my knee list goes on tried every tip I can find.
The signals keep tweaking out especially when I experience this weird chest sensation.
All my readings get listed as sinus arrhythmia or sinus rytm that isn’t really what I am asking about but the fact that my ecg constantly looks different even from one minute too an other just sitting still. One minute all my complexes are small one minute they are super tall one minute the t wave or p wave is super tall, one minute I got lots of random spikes one minute I get more waves, one minute the ampilude chages in waves and one minute the watch isn’t able too take a good recording at all no matter how hard I try, and suddenly it is able too take a crystal clear recording when I am not really that still?? What can cause something like this? Also noticed that i always have a tiny notch/wave in between the qrs and t wave? Absolutely everything seems too be jumping weirdly. Also my bpm is really unstable. And I don’t think it seems like in just a sinus Arytmia way, it happens a lot not in line with breathing and its unpredictable. It can jump from 60-110 in one recording. Sometimes my bpm goes up when I lay down and down when getting up and vice versa. Tried to find an explanation as too why this might be but I cant? Doctor has told me its dysanatonomia but after reading up on it and stuff I don’t really feel like it is the explanation? Had progressivly worsening weird symptoms for a while now. It isn’t just my watch that has problems with taking recordings temperature, oxygen and blood pressure readings struggle as well?

In lots of my recordings my qrs change high weirdly. Haven’t managed too find the cause. What can cause something like this?

Ok. So I do have some heart problems i was born with. a grade 2 pda and some spontaneously closed Vsds do get lots of pvc here and there. But nothing that has bugged me that much.
But more recently I have had some weird stuff going on. That my doctor thinks is due too some type of disanatonomia. After reading up on it. I am unsure. So I bought a apple watch too try and see if some episodes really is just my heart just being a bit too sensitive or similar. Or if it could find something else. (Yes I am aware its not the best medical equipment exactly, but it can be good too at least point you in a direction. )
well my problem is. It seems that everytime I have a clear episode with some really weird feeling in my chest and I get dizzy a bit short of breath etc. my watch has trouble capturing the most intense moments which often just last a few minutes.
But everything I get «recording bad quality» for like 5-6 ecgs until it finnaly calms and my watch is good again. Aften I saw a picture of someone posting their vt episode and a torsades episode from a apple watch.
I thought mhmmm it kind of looks a bit like some of the recordings I do get when my watch does show something.
So my question is basically. Could this be an Arrytmia? Or is it just artifact.
I once tried to voice record my heart beat instead in a similar episode. And it didn’t sound like a regular lub-dub if you ask me. Apps also flags my qtc as being really prolonged a lot. And often on the days this happens. Any insights would be appreciated

Yes i am in the process of talking with my doctor. But there is lots of stuff going on and I want too know if its worth bugging my doctor with even more stuff.

Edit: since everyone is just commenting «see a doctor» etc. I must just say. Ofc I know this isn’t the same as asking a doctor….
But everyone plumber, arborist, mafia boss or whatever. Probably owns a watch if they are in this group. And can at least help me determine if its a common issue or not. That is all I am asking.
Ofc nobody here can diagnose me (probably ) If you are going too comment «see a cardiologist» then maybe read my other replies before you do that. Because YES! i know. But why waste someones time if its just some weird common issue lots of people experience. And might have a quick fix as well?
And yes I do talk too my doctor. But I don’t want too waste time on possible technical problems.
And well I dont have a clue on what is normal fluctuations and not. For all I know everyone has constant fluctuations etc. or its crystal clear and similar most of the time.

Ok disclaimer I do have lots of pvc episodes as well as dysanatonomia. So yes it might be a hugh factor.
And yes I have tried too ask my doctor.
but he keeps telling me that its just the dysanatonomia or seems too only try to dismiss me when I bring up apple watch stuff.

so I have this problem with my apple watch ecg. I 100% though it had to be something wrong with my watch until I let my sister borrow it and it showed normal clean results too her all the time. While I get almost constantly changing weird looking results more then not. Yes I make sure my hands are still. And resting on something. It shouldn’t be only explained with artifact. (Its on multiple recordings when it happens even if I change the watch position etc) I Make sure the watch is sitting right and everything. But still it keeps showing weird things.
If I ask chat gpt. It says artififact. These are not just some weird results I have gotten. For each picture I have tried too take multiple more. And tried too fool proof everytime. Still my results keep coming out weird.
Slmetimes the complexes are tiny tiny. Some times they are going all ovef the place. Some times the waves seems to be the same same high? Sometimes the complexs changes high multiple times in one recording?

Anyone has an explanation as too why this might happen and what might help? Is it just artifact? But apart from being still and having on the watch the right way. What might cause it. I have found that if I lay down. The watch makes the complexes really tiny a lot.

Yes I also experience symptoms a lot. But I think they are pvc runs.
Any other explanations?

Yes ofc a doctor should be the one checking it. But like…. I don’t want too go in more more time too get no answers.
And too be honest I would rather die of a heart attack than go in one more time only for there too be ✨normal✨
And yes that is not a understatement.
I have tree separate croocked bones. Because I didn’t want too go in because I went in one time when I thought my thumb was broken. And it wasn’t.
And the guy made me feel like a hypochondriac.
And same thing happend two tears ago when a lots of pvc episodes made me go in too get a ecg.

So yes. It does matter too me too know if something is common or not.
