Running Nice - Cannes (French Riviera Marathon) in November and got an email today saying no single use cups. I understand the rationale, but have never raced this way. I’m targeting a sub 3 pace and am a bit worried about water station logistics / lost time.
Anyone have any advice on how to minimize lost time with this format?

What’s the best strategy for finding similar paced runners beyond the fastest pace group ? Just wait until the race starts and see who’s around you?
