From 890 to 1500: Asian chud ranked last in her class is free!!!!!!!!!!

hi guys!!!!! typing so excitingly right now. What was in that water this May SAT bc that shit was so much easier than every SAT I’ve ever taken.

when I did the practice SAT (blue book) in sophomore year I was shocked to see I only answered 8 questions in total correctly on the English giving me a whopping total of 890.

i studied over summer, and in Nov I got a 1390 on my first real test! Then I studied SUPER hard till March, and got a 1410 on the March sat. I was a little discouraged because I had studied super hard only to improve 20 points.

i was kinda done I believed that that was my final score, but js wanted to do May for fun. I took it without studying one bit, and guess what!!!!!

😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃

1500!!!!

NYU GSTEM vs Prestigious music camp? (Meadowmount)

hi guys! I got off the NYU GSTEM waitlist today. I get full aid so I would have to pay for housing only, around 4k, but I think I can ask for lower. however, I was going to a music camp (and I would be studying with who's known as the "best" professor for my instrument) for 6 weeks, and thats 5 weeks and the cost is basically the same, but its like 5k.

I dont know what to do. my app looks something like this:

  1. Internship at pharmaceutical small company doing research on cleaning innovation, possible publication but not sure (11)
  2. All state Orchestra Principal
  3. Chamber music- performances at Carnegie hall, competitions winner 3x
  4. Local Youth Orchestra (9, 10, 11, 12) principal (10,11,12)
  5. STEM club that distributes 2000+ stem kits globally (Vice president) (9, 10, 11, 12) (I might take this off as I didnt really do much for this)
  6. Work at family owned photography business (9, 10, 11, 12)
  7. Nonprofit Organization that teaches refugee children music (Recruitment Manager/Social Media Manager) (11) (I think I am going to president next year)
  8. Philharmonic Orchestsa webmaster and promoter (10, 11)
  9. Music Club member (9) secretary (10-11) 12 (co president)
  10. UNICEF (secretary) (10, 11, 12) member (9)

a lot of people say my app is already a lot of music, so its goo to be more diverse, but I might even be applying to college with music so I dont know man. this is really hard.

the music camp is meadowmount btw. please give me ur best advice!! I need to decide soon and I have no idea.

Faking College Visit for Excused Absence

Hi guys! To keep it short, my school has a rule where you can only have 11 absences (unexcused) and I am absent a lot because I'm sick, for competitions, etc. basically I ran out and I got this scary letter abt losing credit if I skip anymore. however, I have to skip tomorrow as I have another competition.

My plan was faking a college visit, bc as a junior I'm allowed 3 excused college visits, but they says, "up to 3 days per school year, only for grades 11 & 12, and with a note on college/employer letterhead, signed by the college/employer representative hosting the visit". Is there a way I can obtain these letters if I don't actually go? Like maybe emailing the admissions office to a random college and telling them I visited?

let me know. thanks so much everyone!!
