Somebody PLEASE help! If I can get help to get my Mic to pass the checks, this side work will literally save my life. I have two other part-time jobs but it is not enough. I am facing eviction very soon and need honest ways to make extra money. Failing the mic check for a couple hours, thank you,
As title says. Am in desperate need to get this going. I have gotten it to work one day successfully with no flags but then got flagged during calls.
Anyways, I have an Onn USB Gaming Headset. Trying to record inside a trailer, doesn't work and never has. I am getting evicted in two weeks, and will be living in my car, so that is why I am hoping to get Babel going!
I have been trying to get my Mic configured correctly. I have been using Chrome on Windows 10, on a Lenovo Legion 5. I also have a separate webcam that meets quality standards. But the problem has been the Microphone Headset. I have followed most of the suggestions, maybe I have missed something if someone has a recommendation or idea?
Babel detects the USB Onn Gaming Headset, and I select the right one and pass the initial audio check. Here is the error data, please help as this is serious and would really help me save my life and take care of my kitten. Im going to take a break for a bit and then experiment a different environment? Maybe a completely silent study room in a library? I hear walk-in closets work great too.

SPEAKING VOLUME:
Your recording has moments that peak too high, risking clipping.
Try lowering your input volume or gain to leave more headroom before the loudest moments.
We measure your volume using LUFS, the global standard for perceived audio loudness, to ensure it's not too loud or too quiet. We also measure the highest moment peak to ensure that your sound is not clipping, which would distort the audio.
