Are any other English projects going right now?

I got rejected from video chats (basically timed out my application while I was getting better technical fixes for the very specific problems they saw) and rejected from the AI assistant-type tasks. Are there any other English projects going that I could try to get into? I have seen people talking about transcription, but I don't have that on my dashboard either.

Help with Audio

I reached out to support 3 days ago but have not heard anything back. I am trying to work on my first task. Zara does not recognize any sounds on any microphone I try except for the poor quality one on my laptop. I have tried a headset with built-in mic that I use for work-no sound (I have adjusted all sound settings on my laptop and in Babel to reflect the different equipment). I also bought an external webcam with 2 built-in mics and she doesn't detect that either. I really want to start working but cannot proceed until this is resolved. Anyone have any tips or a way to get ahold of tech?

What is the best equipment for Babel?

I am having a really hard time. I do not know what the best equipment to use is while working on Babel Audio platform. I got dinged for echo, noise, static, clipped audio, etc. all audio issues on so many of my videos. I am not sure what to do any more. I am just a beginner, yesterday was my first day. I am using my dell laptop with windows 11 and not using any external mic. Just a cheap wired headphones off amazon and the internal laptop mic and I have set its settings to what they recommend. I can't spend too much on equipment right now so I hope you guys have some affordable ideas? By the way, when I listened to my dinged audios I just do not hear anything wrong.

How long do I have between getting accepted and completing onboarding?

Long story short, I applied to BabelAudio a couple days ago with good equipment. I didn’t get an acceptance email shortly after, so I kinda gave up waiting for it. My family and I just left home for the weekend, and I left my camera and microphone.

Anyway, a couple minutes ago, I got an email saying that I got accepted. I saw that to complete onboarding, I need to record a short video snippet. I have none of my external equipment with me, and I won’t have it for at least 3 days.

The email says that if I don’t complete it soon, it will kick me out. What exactly is “soon”? How long do I have? If I don’t have enough time, what should I do?

Any help would be appreciated
