Quiet places to visit in London?

i'm visiting London in a week and i'm very excited! But i tend to get a bit overwhelmed in very busy, crowded places. I'd like to spend most of my trip having leisurely walks, trying good teashops or coffee places, and reading. Does anybody have recommendations for places i could visit?

EDIT: thank you lovely people for your suggestions! I'll have a good time looking into all of them in the airport!!

Tips for surviving my first 9 to 5 job?

edit: thank you ladies for all your lovely advice 🫶

I'm a 21 yr old working my first 9 to 5 job. The job itself is lovely, but it makes me so exhausted! My work keeps me pretty busy and oftentimes I'll lose track of time and take my lunch break pretty late. I was never much of a coffee drinker, but now i absolutely NEED a cup of coffee to start my day. And I get so hungry during the work day that I constantly snack on a granola bar or cookie, but the sugar never makes me feel good. In the evenings and weekends I never do the things I told myself I would do (reading, journaling, etc) and end up doomscrolling in bed. In the mornings I'm so tired that I've given up on doing my make up and hair altogether.

How do I feel less exhausted and make the most of my evenings and weekends??

4-year-olds have so much love in their hearts

i work in a kindergarten, and I'm always amazed by how much love 4-year-olds have in their little hearts. They'll risk being told off by their teacher just to run out of line and give me a hug. They'll spend ages on a drawing and give it to me without hesitation. They'll show me their favorite toys and let me hold them. They'll trust me to correct their mistakes and they'll take my feedback. Sometimes I think about how crazy it is that every grown-up was once a kid.

Visiting Haworth

I'm a huge Brontë enthusiast, and I'm planning to visit Haworth in late August. I wanted to ask other readers who have travelled to Haworth before:

  1. Is there anything you would recommend that visitors do while at Haworth to really immerse themselves in the Brontë experience?

  2. How many days would make a good trip to the town?
