Chances of getting into USF for a full ride or 50-75 % scholarship for masters .
Hello everyone,
I am planning onto apply to University of South Florida for Masters in Computer Science . I have a currently a cgpa of 3.86/4.00 in my undergraduate(recently graduated) and my degree was Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering. I was really focused on building my CGPA in my undergrad life so I could not really focus on doing research or making pubications, however I was a TA twice in my undergrad , and now I fear that applying to USF and similar uiversities would lower my chances of getting a full ride or at least 50-75 % scholarship for masters as I donot have any publications . My question is that do I need publications for being considered for a full funding or at least 75 % scholarship for masters . What are the things considered for a 50-100 % scholarship for masters in CS ? Do publications really matter here. I plan to do my phd from USF also after I complete my masters, so really curious. Can anyone share some information on this or anyone who got admitted into masters in CS program at USF with scholarship can share some valuable information, it would highly informative. Should I make some publications , then I should apply or should I make directly apply without any publications? Thanks . Please help me out .
