Hey all. I got hsv-2 from a cheating ex and haven’t had sex in almost a year now. I haven’t waned to just hookup with a random and no one has peaked my interest. I’ve been seeing this new guy for a couple weeks and he brought up that he wants to spend the night with me. I’ve been so nervous to tell him but I did it… let me just say his response was so nice I was almost brought to tears. I’m so grateful that this was my first experience telling someone and I had it be received so positively. People are understanding and great and nice and I hope that you can remember there are good people out there who don’t want to shame you for having a disease out of your control.
