Brand Says This Uneven Panel Gap Is Normal. Would You Accept This? Model - EW270Q
I recently purchased a monitor and noticed a visible asymmetry in the display assembly.
On the right side, there is a noticeable gap between the display panel and the outer body/bezel, while the left side appears much tighter. This makes the monitor look uneven when viewed from the front.
I raised a service request with the brand, but the technician and service team stated that this is "normal" for heat dessipation and not a defect.
But the gap itself is more than 1mm on the right side
My concern is that if this were an intentional design characteristic, the gap and alignment should be reasonably consistent on both sides. The difference appears significant enough to look like a fitment or assembly issue rather than a design choice.
I've attached photos for reference. Do you think this level of asymmetry is acceptable, or would you consider it a manufacturing/assembly defect? I'm interested in hearing opinions from other owners and anyone familiar with monitor manufacturing tolerances.
