Recommend Me Perfumes Based Off a Song: Wisborg Perfume & Cigarettes

Not sure if this is a weird request, but I was idly listening to Wisborg's Perfume & Cigarettes and decided to look up the lyrics, only to be surprised that half the lyrics are scent notes recalling a past lover's perfume. I really like the song & emotion of it, it brings me back to old longing memories and hazy nights of meeting someone at the goth club. It makes me want to be the girl in the song, as silly as that sounds. So I'm looking for perfumes inspired directly by the scent notes in the lyrics, inspired by the general vibe of the song, or a mix of both.

I'm guessing that the song is likely inspired by the base notes of Mugler's Angel. I've never smelled Angel (mainstream perfumes have always given me headaches) and I'm not really looking for an Angel dupe, rather something that has a bit more of the darker vibe of the song. I am a baby newbie when it comes to patchouli, though, so I would prefer something that doesn't scream patch.

Sydney Grace Christmas in 'July' Sale Details, Sale Starts Tomorrow 8/17

I'm completely unaffiliated with the brand, I have just enjoyed their eyeshadows.

Sydney Grace is launching their Christmas in 'July' sale period starting tomorrow. They pushed it back this year, I believe due to delays with the new palettes they wanted to launch with the sale. Looks like they're releasing two new palettes (Wild Honey and Velvet Petal, previews are on their IG) in addition to some new singles that will be available through the mystery bags.

Personally, I hope they release some of the Velvet Petal shades separately. I'm a mauve bitch and have too many similar shades already to probably warrant purchasing the whole palette, but some of the colors would fill in gaps in my collection.

It's another one of those 'Please help me figure out my Pierrot order' (seeking reviews)

Like many, I decided it's now or never as far as putting in a Pierrot order since they're closing indefinitely. I've intended to order from them for about a year, but never did because they don't have small samples. I've decided to give it a go and order the 5mL to support a fellow queer, however I can only budget for one or two.

Please note that I've already read every possible review I could find and some of these I could barely find any reviews, which is why I'm asking for thoughts.

  • Vampyr - I've seen a fair number of reviews of this, but some people say there's a citrus or cherry/almond quality to it. Do you find that to be so?
  • Only Forever - I've read a lot of good reviews of this one and I'm pretty sure I'm going to get it, but any more thoughts people have on it are appreciated. Is the pickled plum similar to umeboshi?
  • Ghostheart - Is this different enough from other houses' creamy peppermints to warrant getting it or is it fairly easy to find something similar?
  • It's Only a Paper Moon - Looking for general thoughts on this one since people's reviews ranged from powder bomb to lemony to creamy vanilla rice milk.
  • Has anyone tried both Killer Queen and The Courting Rose and could compare them for me? I like rose but I'm torn over which.
  • Hallowtide Bride - How wearable on the daily is this? Or is this more a scent you'd wear to the goth club?
  • Garmonbozia - Please give me any thoughts, especially on how wearable it is. I desire corn but I don't know if this is the right corn because the notes intimidate me a lil bit.
