First dates channel 4 - do you have to have a sad backstory to go on this show now?
Watching the new season, and just everybody has a sad backstory that they Have to divulge during their first date. It feels a bit forced, reminds me of xfactor

They're too loud, just a thought experiment
I'm using flake parts to have small nixos modules that provide features for my host machines to import. For example, an audio module that enables pipewire, or a desktop module that enables niri.
I have two main organisational problems. The first is, what to do with small programs that don't really need their own module (or do they?). Does btop need a module, or does it go in an existing "monitoring" module?
But then the bigger problem is if you start assuming too much with a module, like the desktop module assuming you want niri. An example I have of this currently is using undervolt to have the CPU target a certain temperature. I was tempted to add that to my "defaults" module, but then do I want all machines to have that? Am I going to keep running into scenarios why my inheritance modules need to keep getting split up more and more.
Really minor issue, but how are people laying out these bits?
Still figuring out what's wrong, but after updating to 26.05 and rebuilding linux kernel, the surface pro 8 won't boot, just shows a black screen and non-blinking cursor.
I'm able to rollback to a NixOS 25.11 generation but then none of my terminal commands work, they all just hang indefinitely. This was unrelated - see update 4
nixos-hardware is on rev b76b5639c0593e0aeb0b5879ad62d4b30596c144
Anyways, just a warning!
Update 1: The terminal commands freezing is something wrong with my home-manager zsh config, I've deleted that for now and can now use the terminal at least
Update 2: Attempted to try keeping nixos 26.05 and roll back nixos-hardware to eeb02f6e29fc8139c0b15af5ff0fdfdc6d0d3d90 (previous rev I used) and rebuilding linux kernel to see if the problem is isolated to nixos-hardware, but that fails to compile
Update 3: I've managed to rollback to nixos 25.11 and previous revision of nixos-hardware and that is booting normally at least. Going to leave it alone for now!
Update 4: The terminal commands not responding was entirely down to atuin failing to rollback after it had a database migration. Completely unrelated
Hi,
Looking for a tool that will show me random photos from my immich library and allow me to archive/delete. I know immich has some basic functionality for this and fixed keybindings for archiving, but I'd like to me able to customize the keybindings so I can use a little bluetooth controller I have to lazily archive bad photos.
If it doesn't exist I might have to slop something up, but just checking first.
Thanks
I want an install option for nix to never ever see this unfree error again ever. I could not care in the slightest if a package is not marked as free.
I have `nixpkgs.config.allowUnfree = true;` in several places in my config. This is popping up when moving to 26.05.
I'll figure out where it's missing eventually, it just always irritates me and wanted to get it off my chest

Or at the very least, as few cards as possible, "minimum" in this case.
