This question might not get answered because it’s Reddit, but I’ll ask anyway. If someone has a valid Thai tourist visa, is it really necessary to bring the equivalent of 20,000 Thai baht in cash? After all, I’ll be showing them one of my bank accounts with over 20,000 US dollars.

And no, I’m not AI just because I use proper English. I’m not some Gen Z subnormal who can’t read beyond a fourth-grade level.
