i intend to be more active next year in the backgamon live scene. I ask players that attend face to face tournaments and clubs. Do you need to carry alway with you a backgammon board .

i have one backgammon tournament board but it is heavy and big like almost all. If I will go to a club I will go after work and cycling is my main way of transportation and it is hard take mine with me .

I anticipate one of the answer , you can write to your local club to ask them if you need to provide a backgammon board. My question is broader and I try to understand different scenarios: so how many times do you travel to your club or your travel abroad to a tournament with your own board?

I guess Europe is a little bit different comparing to US where people use mostly cars and there is not an issue.

i play mostly money games . i like to analyse them in batch. i do not have time to analyse each other separately . so basically I put a match high enough ex 98 points to be sure that checker play will be neutral like in money game and i put all of them , usually 7 money games in a single file . sometimes i have issues with Jacoby rule , having too good when the cube is still centered.What setting should i give to my match play file to mimic Jacoby rule for each game.

i know Backgammon Galaxy mimics to Jacoby Rule give you a mat file where a money game is a match play but since every money game has his own file they have different issues.

i’m on mac so i do not have the function to analyse in batch . i do not know if on windows you have this option.

I listened Screaming Life after long time . I was teenage during grunge years but now when I listened it came in my mind that Screaming Life it is a very good heavy metal parody played by some punks.
