Text/Call forwarding from Android to iPhone?
To preface, I want to have an android phone for work, and an iPhone for personal use. I currently just use the iphone with dual esim, but I want a little more separation for a couple of reasons.
So I have searched, but have found not many answers about how to do this. My carrier allows call forwarding, so I know I can set my Android phone to forward calls to my iPhone personal number. Problem semi-solved, unless people have reported issues with this.
What I am looking for is to be able to know when my work phone receives a text message. Either via forwarding or just a notification. I dont necessarily want to be able to reply from my personal iphone, just to know when my work android gets a message so I can go get it and reply. Are there any ways or apps you all have experience with to accomplish this? Either full text forwarding or ways to relay a message.
I only ask because the post I find are people wanting to know how to get messages forwarded from their partners phone, which is not my goal here. I purely want to know when I get a message, as I do not want to have to physically carry 2 phones on me at all times. I would like to leave my work phone in the office or desk at home, and just know if I get a message, so I can go back and get it to reply.
