Daisy chaining ARGB connectors
So I plan on upgrading my PC hopefully soon, and I'm replacing almost everything including the case fans.
For that I've been looking at the Thermaltake CT120 EX ARGB Sync fans. Only problem is that I only have one ARGB header on my motherboard.
I plan on putting 6 of them into my case. The motherboard that I have, which I'm transferring to the new build, is a MSI X470 Gaming Pro Carbon. All I was able to find out about the ARGB header is that it can support up to 72 ARGB LEDs.
I did look up how many LEDs each CT120 EX fan has and with the amount of fans that I'd put in my PC, I'd have a total of 54 LEDs on that one header if I daisy chain them all together. I couldn't find anything about the power limit of the ARGB header on my motherboard.
So that's why I'm posting this here. Would it still be safe to daisy chain them all together on the same ARGB header, or is it better to just buy an ARGB hub instead?
