Google just approved my Chrome extension for anti-phishing/website verification

Hello community!

I’m really excited to share that Google recently approved my Chrome extension in the Chrome Web Store. After months of development and local testing, it’s finally live!

The extension alerts you if the website you are visiting is the official one or a lookalike/phishing copy. To achieve this, it checks a database of pre-verified and validated domains managed by my development team.

Currently, we are manually maintaining the domains of popular sites like YouTube, Facebook, Amazon, etc. However, the ultimate goal is to have businesses verify and register their official domains directly in our database.

I would love for you guys to test it out and let me know what you think! It’s lightweight, easy to use, and secure.

Hello there! I'm a computer teacher and today I had a very exciting class because I taught Linux for the first time to my students. Sharing all this knowledge was an amazing experience.

It felt like a huge jump from when I was a teenager playing around with different Linux distributions, back when I was just discovering the philosophy of "share the software, you will be a free hacker" haha. To be honest, it feels really great to have shared my passion about Linux with my students!
