Our family hasn’t attended church in about a year, but we attended today’s for a family friend’s farewell. Our teenage daughter sat with her friends and during the sacrament her friends commented on her using her left hand and told her she has to use her right hand.
Is this now a common known thing since it was introduced into the handbook? I don’t remember this being a big thing when I was a teenager such that it would have been even softly enforced among friends. The comments from my daughter’s friends surprised both her and me as overly zealous, so wasn’t sure if it was just becoming more of a thing now.
