I have an early model Glock 19 Gen5 without the front serrated on has the half moon cut in the magazine area. This Glock was a gifted from a late family member and because of that I'm trying to consider my options.

I'm currently conflicted whether I should do a cut to be able to mount an optic in the OG slide, or to purchase a new slide and just leave this one alone.

My thoughts

Old Slide- Huge fan of the clean look, but can't decide if I should cut this beautiful slide.

New Slide- I get to keep my OG slide as original as can be, but now I have a clean slide collecting dust.
