DnB Oakland, California has some neat games!

I wish DnB wasn’t so cookie cutter at times. I’m sure there’s a reason for most of them being very similar to one another. However, seeing venues with just 2-3 uncommon games makes it worth going out of the way to visit and play

What is the use of this emote?

What emotion does it express? It’s in the shop and I’m wondering if it’s worth saving for

How did you get into the arcade/AP?

Curious as to how others got into this niche hobby (lifestyle for some).

I went to a bowling alley and saw there was an arcade and a Rastafarian shark plush for 1500 tickets and I looked around and saw SIF with a 500 ticket jackpot and figured it looked similar enough to the classic Space Invaders game. Got a $20 game card with the hopes of winning it with the first $10 and the other $10 would be for fun.

Got the plush, ran into more experienced arcade players, and just kept going

How many tickets is the total cost of the entire WIN area?

Question in title. Does anyone have any idea how many tickets it would cost to win every prize (not one of every, but every single prize) in the WIN redemption area? Not including stuff in the back.

Obviously a hypothetical question, but curious to know

PSA: It is very hard to get the S4 pack and emote from High Voltage Overdrive coming June 11 (math below)

The S4 pack is 18,000 volts, and the Jeff emote is 15,000 volts, or 33,000 volts total. You can get 7,000 volts from the track, leaving 26,000 left. The missions are 500, 250, and 125, or 875 volts each refresh. This is 2,625 volts each day. I believe the event is 7 days, meaning it is possible to get 18,375 volts from missions. This means you need to get 7,625 volts from wins.

Each win gets 20 volts. 7,625/20 is 381.25, or 382 wins needed after rounding. Dividing by 7 yields about 54.57 wins each days, or 18.19 wins each refresh.

High Voltage Overdrive and High Voltage seem to have been easy to get the new card as it is low/no risk, but getting extra goodies seems to be harder than other LGTM’s. Yes, this excluded the pass, but other LGTM’s seem to allow for easier extras even without the pass.

The new Jeff emote looks cool. Not sure if it is worth getting the pass for it though.

Going to Pittsburgh, PA this weekend. What arcades are worth checking out?

I know there’s DnB in Homestead and North Hills, and there’s also 3 Rivers, Fun Fore All, and Zone 28. Additionally there is R1 Erie relatively nearby.

Anything else?
