Worth keeping in mind…

Which symbolic animals would do the best job for their country?
On the bbc coverage of Algeria v Switzerland, Efan Ekoku suggested that the Swiss could “take off their centre halves and bring on two cows with bells on” as their defence had been so untroubled by Algeria.
What countries symbolic creature would do the best job for them though?
These need to be real animals, not just ones on badges, so China would be stuck with Pandas, not dragons. I imagine lions will be effective, but where would you play them???

Refusing to celebrate against your parents country, but then celebrating against your parents country
The low key celebration after scoring against your parents country is a new one to me, I guess you might get an earful and sent to your room when you get home?
Obviously realising he’d probably already pissed off his dad by hammering his country, he just decided to go for it with the second goal.
