FOR THOSE WHO HAVE DIFFICULTY AIMING: GO INTO WINDOWS "MOUSE SETTINGS"

THEN CLICK ON "ADDITIONAL MOUSE OPTIONS", THEN GO INTO THE "POINTER OPTIONS" PAGE, AND CHECK IF THE "ENHANCE POINTER PRECISION" SETTING IS ON OR OFF.

IF IT IS ON, TURN IT OFF IMMEDIATELY. UNCHECKMARK IT.

THIS HAS CHANGED THE GAME FOR ME IN A BIG WAY. AND NOW YOU CAN PROFIT.

IT'S ACTUALLY RIDICULOUS HOW BADLY IT WAS AFFECTING MY IN-GAME AIMING SKILL.

Side Note: try restarting your computer after you've uncheckmarked it and make sure it isn't auto-applying back on. If it is indeed on again, you'll have to uninstall any extra mouse software you may have on your computer. This is what it was doing for me and I had no clue until tonight. I had a "Kensington Mouse" application installed for my trackball mouse (not gaming related) and it was re-applying the Enhanced Pointer Precision every single time I restarted my PC.

Shout out to streamer FineOkay who told me about this setting to-turn-off months ago (he's a former pro Smite player). What I didn't realize is that it was being re-applied every single time I restarted my computer.

SO MANY MONTHS OF BAD AIMING. FIXED WITH THIS ONE SETTING SWITCHED OFF.

IT'S A MASSIVE UPGRADE. VERY VERY NOTICEABLE.

ALL THE BEST, FELLOW CURSED APPLE ADDICTS...

...MAY YOUR AIM BE STEADY AND JUST, FROM HERE ON FORTH! 🎅🤘

To the people doubting, “fact checking” and telling me it’s just placebo: it’s NOT a placebo effect. The change in-game is tangible and mechanical.

There is a noticeable drift/lag with it On, and a noticeable stability and snappiness with the setting Off.

I have over 1000+ hours in Deadlock over the past 2 years. I wouldn’t have said anything publicly like this unless it made a real tangible difference with my in-game aim capability. It is a bit of a revelation for me personally.

All the best, I hope this helps someone out there. 🙏🏼

My mouse is set at 1600 DPI with an 8k polling rate on Windows 10 (0.38 in-game Mouse Sensitivity)

(I grew up in the NWT, so this maybe hits closer to home for me than most. But yeah this is a great little video. I can’t see the Leafs brass selecting anyone else. I am super hyped.)
