Most “metal” movie scenes (not horror)

What is a scene where the spirit of the director’s work is inherently “metal” in its energy, its attitude, aggressive technical choices, high stakes drama and acting, etc?
I realize Temple of Doom is almost horror but I select this because of Spielberg’s building of tension with sound and visuals, plus the amount of shock value it must have had upon its mainstream Indiana audience. How dare they!
